Our Background
Saptha Kanya, also known as the Seven Virgin Hills mountain range is a land like no other, one filled with endless swats of tea plantations but one that is also home to other lush forms of vegetation.
The story of our tea originates close to a picturesque town in the central province of Sri Lanka, called Maskeliya. Being part of the Nuwara Eliya district which is world renowned for some of the highest quality tea in the world; this will certainly guarantee the best tea experience anyone could wish for.
Everything in life thrives because of water and since the beginning of time Folklore has always stipulated that the point at which the soil is the purest is said to be where water has it’s first contact with land. The tea we source is also in very close proximity to Sri Pada or Adam’s Peak, Sri Lanka’s highest peak measuring 2,243 m.

Our Founder
He is the founder/ CEO of Seven Virgin Hills (Pvt) Ltd. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelors degree in Law (LLB).
Having worked in numerous institutions is evidence of the deep rooted knowledge and experience he holds in the Governmental apparatus.
In addition, managing high net worth individual and institutional clients during his time as an investment analyst, further underscores his ability to be commercially aware and engage in strategic transactions.
Director
Mr. P. G. Dassanayake is the managing director of Seven Virgin Hills Tea (Pvt) Ltd.
His expansive knowledge came from acting as the vice chairman for Sri Lanka Ports Authority and NAITA, being a board member for CICT, JCT, SAGT, Foreign Employment Agency and Janatha Estate Development Board, the chairman of Ceylon German Technical Institute and Estate Printing Corporation as well as the working director of ITN Ltd.
He has gained vast experience in various industries over his many years of tenure.
